Two measures are used to prevent the tractor from lifting during container exchange: hydraulic bogie blocking, which is applicable on mechanical pendulum bogies, and hydraulic frame lock, which is used with sprung bogies.
Note: Hydraulic bogie blocking cannot be used with sprung bogies.
